Mineral Makeup Application Basics
Start by applying our liquid skin perfecting primer to help makeup
last and to give a nice canvass for flawless face. Proceed with
makeup application by covering problem areas
Concealing Blemishes:
We recommend to start with your problem areas (such as dark undereyes and acne scars). With the help of a good concealer brush, swipe it on the mineral concealer/coreector lightly, gently tap off excess. Conceal the problem areas in small circles or downward strokes.
It is recommended to “feather” the edges of the concealed areas to create a natural effect. Now you are ready to apply the foundation.
Foundation Application:
TAP a small amount of your foundation into the lid of your foundation container. If you have a 5-gram or 10g sample jar, you may use a small plate, a small condiments plate or a small bowl.
Remember, less is more. You will be applying your makeup in thin layers to get a natural, flawless look!
Using a brush (a kabuki brush, flat top or anything with dense bristles is preferred), swirl it into the minerals that you have poured out. Tap off the excess minerals, you should see only a very small amount of minerals on the bristles of your brush. Apply your minerals by sweeping the minerals on your forehead and cheeks to place foundation in those areas. Then starting along your jawline, begin to BLEND the makeup on your face in gentle, circular motion working your way inward.
You may repeat the application of foundation minerals until you are satisfied with the coverage. 2-3 layers usually give sufficient coverage, but some women are satisfied already with just one layer! There are other ways to apply mineral powder foundation, another technique is to spray your brush with water or a toner to dampen it and apply in the same way. You can get a more dewy look along with extra coverage, this technique may also help make your makeup last!
